His extensive list of military honors, including over 40 decorations and awards, reflects his outstanding commitment to excellence.

Beyond his military career, Gary has continued to make significant contributions to his community. As a past president and board member of various organizations, including the Denton Watch Group, Texas Cooperative Education and Internship Association, and Denton Animals Shelter Foundation, Gary has played an instrumental role in supporting various causes and initiatives.

Moreover, Gary's involvement in founding the Texas Veterans Hall of Fame showcases his passion for recognizing and honoring veterans for their service and accomplishments.
