We are honored to introduce our distinguished speaker for this week, Command Sergeant Major Gretchen Evans, a true American hero and advocate for wounded veterans. With 27 years of dedicated service in the U.S. Army, she held leadership roles in multiple combat engagements, including overseeing more than 30,000 ground troops in Afghanistan.

Gretchen's journey took a life-altering turn in 2006 when she sustained debilitating injuries in a rocket blast, including a traumatic brain injury, internal injuries, and the loss of all hearing, which sadly ended her military career. Undaunted by adversity, she embarked on a new mission, advocating for wounded veterans and founding Team UNBROKEN in 2019. This mixed-ability athletic team has participated in over 100 competitions and events worldwide, including the World's Toughest Race, featured on Amazon Prime.

Most recently, Gretchen received the prestigious Pat Tillman Award for Service at the ESPY Awards, further recognizing her outstanding contributions to our nation's heroes. Join us to hear her inspiring story and the incredible work she continues to do in support of our veterans.
