We are delighted to introduce our distinguished speaker for this week, Candy Wade, M.Ed, from Starfish Creations. Candy's presentation, titled "Making a Difference in the Lives of Those with Special Needs," promises to be an enlightening and impactful discussion.

Starfish Creations is a unique business run by Special Education High School students as part of the Lewisville Independent School District (LISD). Candy, a retired LISD teacher and the retired owner/administrator of Home Helpers and residential care homes brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her work.

Currently serving as a job coach in LISD's Focus on the Future program, Candy is deeply committed to enhancing the lives of individuals with special needs. Notably, she is also an active member of the Highland Village Rotary Club, exemplifying Rotary's values of service and community and making a positive impact.
