Cross Timbers Rotarians have a fun opportunity to participate with the Miracle League of North Texas in being a BASEBALL BUDDY on Saturday, March 30. Our assigned game is at 12:30 so volunteers will need to arrive at Bakersfield Park - Field 11 by 12:00 to check in and get your assignment. We have 18 slots to fill so once those are filled up, anyone else who might like to join can come and cheer these special needs kids on from the stands. Heart of the City Needs a group of 12 people to assist in serving groceries and clothing to neighbors. Volunteers are to be on-site by 8:30 and should be done by 11:15 at the latest. Children are welcome to participate and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Duties might include sorting clothes, deliveries of groceries to vehicles, cleaning vehicles, etc. Project Lead: Charla Brown |

Giving Grace Love First Work Day. Assist with cleaning up branches and picking up trash to help form pathways on the property. The time is 10 to 12, and children are welcome. Most of the necessary supplies will be provided for the event. However, an email will be sent out to the volunteers as the event approaches if there are any specific items that are required and if anyone has them. Participants are required to wear pants and long sleeve shirts, and they must also tie their hair back or wear a hat. Miracle League of North Texas Baseball Buddies at Bakers Field Park #11. We need 18 volunteers to be a "buddy" for athletes with disabilities to play in their game. This multi-course Chef's Dinner will be $125 per person, a portion of which will go to the Rotary Foundation on behalf of the attendee. Seats are limited, therefore this is an Invitation-Only event.
